Beth Robitaille, MD
Program Director

Dr. Robitaille joined the faculty in 2000. A Casper native, she attended medical school at Creighton University after graduating from The University of Notre Dame. She completed her residency training at North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley, CO. She has special interests in women’s health and pediatrics. She coordinates the Pediatrics curriculums, Procedure/Practice Mgt. rotation, and the clinic and call schedules for both residents and faculty. She and her husband, John, have three sons, who keep them quite busy when not at work!

Brian Veauthier, MD
Assistant Program Director

Dr. Veauthier graduated from our program in 2004. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatrics, obstetrics and procedures in Tacoma, Washington. Shortly after the fellowship he worked in a Community Health Center Network in Olean, NY. He attended The University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from Georgetown University. He is very happy to be back in Wyoming with his wife, Bridget, and their three girls.

Caroline Kirsch, D.O.
Interim Osteopathic DME

Dr. Caroline Kirsch is also a graduate of our program. Growing up in Rawlins, she is proud to be practicing in the state in which she was raised. Dr. Kirsch obtained a Doctorate of Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM). While there, she completed her fellowship with a focus on Manipulative Medicine. Dr. Kirsch holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wyoming. While attending the University of Wyoming, she also obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Sociology, Women's Studies and Zoology/Physiology. She and her husband recently welcomed a daughter who keeps them busy.

Tom Radosevich, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Radosevich graduated from UWFMRP in 2002 and joined the staff shortly thereafter. He is originally from Rock Springs, WY and attended medical school at Creighton University as well. He has a natural and comfortable demeanor about him—a wonderful trait for a physician and teacher. Dr. Radosevich is very procedure oriented, both in the office and hospital settings, and is skilled in surgical obstetrics. He and his wife, Tori, have four young ones that keep them busy at home.

Zach Deiss, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Deiss attended Creighton University School of Medicine. He also completed his Family Medicine training here at the UWFMRP at Casper. He then practiced full spectrum rural family medicine in Anaconda, MT for many years prior to returning to Wyoming. He practiced rural Emergency Medicine across Wyoming for several years as well. He also has been a visiting attending for many years, until 2008, when he officially joined our faculty. His special interests in medicine include Emergency Medicine and Global Medicine. He travels to Honduras annually with our residents as part of the Shoulder to Shoulder Program.

Karlynn Sievers, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Karlynn Sievers will be joining our faculty in September 2010. Dr. Sievers received her medical degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia and completed her training in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri program in Kansas City. She has practiced rural family medicine in Missouri for several years. She is excited to become a full-time faculty member after being a busy preceptor to many medical and osteopathic students. She will be moving to Casper with her family after a 6 month stint abroad practicing in New Zealand.

Maria Cornelius, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor

Maria joins our faculty with a great deal of world and international experience. She has served in the Peace Corp in Fiji and attended medical school in Israel. She has her undergraduate degree from South Dakota so she is also familiar with the area.

Cindy Works, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Works practiced in Africa for nearly 14 years before returning to her native Casper with her husband and four children. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in third world medicine and HIV/AIDS management. She practices at the Senior Care Clinic. She has become the new cornerstone of the Geriatrics rotation and performs nursing home visits, home visits, geriatric assessment team clinics, and memory (dementia) clinics.

Burl Maurer, LCSW
Behaviorist

Burl received his MSW from the University of Georgia, and has practiced clinical social work since 1988 with the last 17 years in Casper. He has worked in a variety of health care settings including Hospice, Home Health, Dialysis, Nursing Homes and both In Patient and Out Patient settings. His interests include working with depression, anxiety and personality disorders, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Jaime Hornecker, Pharm-D
Assistant Professor

Dr. Hornecker serves as the Pharmacy Education Director at UWFMRP. She instructs UW pharmacy students as they rotate through our clinic and oversees our Pharm-D residency, which began in 2002. She provides monthly Journal Club and pharmacy lectures to the UWFMRP residents. She also has oversees the Coumadin clinic for CHCCW patients, and provides many other clinical and educational services.

Val Goen, PA-C
Adjunct Faculty / Clinical Provider

Val grew up on a ranch in Southeast Wyoming and practiced as a registered nurse before she became a PA through the MEDEX program. She is specially trained in child abuse and neglect issues.

John Noffsinger, PA-C
Adjunct Faculty / Clinical Provider

John worked as an athletic trainer prior to becoming a PA through the University of Utah program. He has a strong background in orthopedics and sports medicine and is involved with our Sports Medicine experience.
