Alicia Olson, MD

aolson40@uwyo.edu

Alicia took a non-traditional path to arrive in Family Medicine in Wyoming. Originally from Idaho, she grew up one generation off the farm. The lack of healthcare in the rural mountain west has always touched her. She attended the University of Idaho and then transitioned to the University of Washington after she found her passion to pursue a medial career. Ultimately, she chose to pursue a surgical career and moved to Detroit, MI, to train in a trauma heavy atmosphere. After completion she realized her passion really lies in treating the entire person and family. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to treat people holistically in a full scope of family practice medicine. She enjoys spending time with her dog and would love to volunteer at a dog shelter so she can interact with a variety of dogs. She loves the wild and scenic rivers of Idaho and looks forward to exploring Wyoming.
