She wants to practice rural full spectrum medicine and give back to communities like the one that raised her. She is passionate about full spectrum medicine, particularly women’s health, OMT, and procedures. In medical school was a member of the Rural and Wilderness Medicine Track. In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and doggo Laney, fishing, reading, and traveling.
Reed Haga, DO – PGY2
rhaga@uwyo.eduBorn and raised in Granville, OH, Reed earned his bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and a master’s in Biomolecular Sciences from Lipscomb University, before attending medical school. His interests include full spectrum rural family medicine, OMT, and preventative care. Reed hopes to one day practice full-scope family medicine in a rural mountain west community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys rock climbing, fishing, trail running, hiking and woodworking. He shares life with his partner Maggie, and her two dogs, Ellie and Duck.
Joshua Andrew, DO – PGY3
jandre23@uwyo.eduJoshua was born and raised in California before leaving for his undergraduate degree in Boston. His heart is in rural/frontier medicine, and he’s particularly interested in procedural medicine OMT, emergency medicine and women’s health. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, foraging wild plants, fermenting, wilderness skills, and baking bread.
